Investigations commenced on tense situation in parliament

Police have commenced investigations on five complaints regarding the tense situations which occurred during the recent parliamentary sessions.

Police Media Spokesperson Ruwan Gunasekara stated the investigations will be conducted with the CCTV footage from the relevant dates as well.

The Attorney General will be informed and consulted in the future on the progress of the investigation, he further stated.
