Buddhika made a State Minister

Deputy Minister Buddhika Pathirana has been appointed as the new State Minister of Industry & Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development and Vocational Training & Skills Development.

He took oath as the new State Minister before President Maithripala Sirisena a short while ago.

Previously, Pathirana was holding office as the Deputy Minister of Industry & Commerce.

Meanwhile, the resigned Muslim ministers have taken up their previous minister posts once again. They have sworn in before the President a short while ago.
