UNP contest general election under ‘Elephant’

The United National Party (UNP) has decided to contest the upcoming general election under the ‘Elephant’ symbol.

This has been decided at the UNP Working Committee meeting held this evening (10).

General Secretary of the UNP Akila Viraj Kariyawasam stated that the majority of the Working Committee proposed that the party should contest under the ‘Elephant’ symbol.
