No confirmation on Sri Lankans infected with Covid-19 in Italy: Foreign Ministry

Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Relations says that hospitals in Italy have still not confirmed whether there are any Sri Lankan nationals suspected of contracting Coronavirus (Covid-19).

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Rome, Italy has also made an inquiry with regard to this, however still no confirmation has been received in this regard.

Meanwhile it has been reported that a Sri Lankan national living in Italy has died, but the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
