Minister Amaraweera has instructed the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to make the public must be made aware of the matter.

Accordingly, the correct electricity bill would be the last bill issued to the consumer, stated the CEB. Additionally, the relevant bill would be issued based on the number of units used by the consumer, CEB adds.
