Boossa Prison inmates including ‘Kanjipani Imran’ & ‘Wele Suda’ call off hunger strike

The inmates of Boossa Prison have called off their hunger strike today (27) following a discussion held with the prison officers.

The hunger strike was staged by several inmates at the Boossa Prison, including the two notorious drug dealer and organized criminal – ‘Kanjipani Imran’ and ‘Wele Suda’.

They had demanded the prison officers to extend the time period inmates are allowed outside their cells.

According to reports, the prison officers, during the discussion with the inmates last evening (26), have conveyed that the relevant demand cannot be carried through.

The inmates however called off the hunger strike on the promise of solutions within three days.
