Three arrivals from Pakistan found COVID-19 positive

Three more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 as of 11.00 pm on Monday (29), says the Ministry of Health.
These fresh cases of novel coronavirus have moved the tally to 2,042.
The Department of Government Information said these patients are arrivals from Pakistan, who are under quarantine at the facility in Diyatalawa. In the meantime, two other arrivals from Bangladesh also tested positive for the virus on Monday (29) who are being quarantined in Pampaimadu and Waikkal.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 recoveries confirmed in Sri Lanka has increased to 1,678.
According to the Epidemiology Unit’s statistics, 353 active cases are currently under medical care at several hospitals across the country.
Eleven patients have succumbed to the virus to date.
