1,441 self-quarantined for not wearing face masks in public

A total of 1,441 persons who were not wearing face masks in public places, as per mandatory health guidelines, have been detained within the last 12 hours ending at 6 am today (30).

The detained persons have been sent for 14 days of mandatory self-quarantine, said the Police.

Police said that, officers have been stationed at various places to keep a close watch on people who do not wear face masks in public.
