Sri Lanka’s Covid-19 recoveries count hits 3,395

Ten more patients who were under treatment for the Covid-19 were discharged today (17) as they have made complete recoveries, the Ministry of Health said.

According to the Epidemiology Unit’s situation report, 03 at National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), 04 at Welikanda Base Hospital, 02 at Hambantota District General Hospital and 01 at Iranawila had returned to health. 

The new development has brought the total number of Covid-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka to 3,395.

Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases stands at 5,354. The Epidemiology Unit says 1,946 of them are currently under medical care at 17 hospitals across the country.
