STF recovers 100kg of heroin from Weligama

The Police Special Task Force (STF) has recovered 100kg of heroin from Weligama area in Matara.

Three suspects and a vehicle used by them have also been taken into custody by the investigating officers, Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said.

The heroin consignment, which was seized after a days-long operation, will be handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB).
