Another suspect arrested over murder of MP Amarakeerthi

The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested another suspect in the area of Nittambuwa over the murder of MP Amarakeerthi Athukorala.
According to the police, 32 suspects in total have been taken into custody so far in connection with the incident.
The late SLPP parliamentarian and the police sergeant attached to his security detail were killed in a mob attack amidst the nationwide unrest on the 9th of May.
