Fourth batch of quarantined persons return home

The fourth group of 163 individuals who successfully completed the quarantine process has left for their homes today (27).

This group was quarantined for a period of 14 days at the facility set up at Batticaloa Campus.

According to reports, they had returned to the island from Italy, South Korea and several other countries.

They are residents of Colombo, Katuneriya, Chilaw and Matara areas.

So far, three batches comprising more than 700 individuals were sent home upon successful completion of the 14-day quarantine process.
