Pavithra Fernando elected as new Sri Lanka Rugby President

Former Sri Lanka and Ceylonese Rugby & Football Club captain Pavithra Fernando has been elected as the new President of Sri Lanka Rugby.

Fernando was elected as the new President during the Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Rugby held at the Duncan White Auditorium Hall within the Sports Ministry complex, a short while ago.

Subash Jayatilaka was elected the new General Secretary while Neomal Ekanayake was named the Treasurer of Sri Lanka Rugby.

Furthermore, Shanitha Fernando was elected as the Deputy President while Chinthaka Perera will function as the Vice President of SLR.

Thilini Rangani was named the Female Representative while Stephan Gregory was nominated as the Athlete Representative during the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Rugby took place today after several delays due to court proceedings.
