Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first against Zimbabwe in a group B encounter of the T20 World Cup at the R Premadasa International Stadium in Colombo.

Both Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe have already qualified for the Super 8 round of the World Cup.

At the toss, Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka confirmed that he has made two changes to the playing XI.

Pramod Madushan and Dilshan Madushanka have been named in the side in place of injured Matheesha Pathirana and Dushmantha Chameera.

Shanaka said he wants to see his batters putting on a substantial total on the board.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza said he would have bowled first anyway, especially with the possibility of rain later on in the day.

They have named the same side as the last game.
