South Africa thrashed India by 76 runs in the Super 8 match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.
Chasing 188, the defending champions were dismissed for 111 runs in 18.5 overs, with Keshav Maharaj taking three wickets.
Marco Jansen (4 wickets) and Corbin Bosch (2 wickets) showed their class with the ball. Shivam Dube (42) was the top run-scorer for the home team.
Earlier, David Miller (63), Dewald Brevis (45) and Tristan Stubbs (44*) took South Africa’s total to 187/7. Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets while Arshdeep Singh dismissed two batters.
