Second Sri Lanka-New Zealand U85kg rugby encounter at Nittawela today

The second and final game of the two-match series between Sri Lanka Tuskers and the visiting New Zealand Under 85kg Rugby team is scheduled to get underway at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium in Kandy this evening (03).

The highly-anticipated encounter will kick-off at 4pm.

The Tuskers led by Lasindu Karunathilaka went down fighting in the series opener in Colombo a fortnight ago against the formidable New Zealanders. 

Despite losing the encounter 16-27, Sri Lankans will take heart from the way the team challenged the visiting New Zealand U85 team at the Racecourse Stadium. 

Kandy skipper Tharinda Chathuranga will lead the Sri Lankan Tuskers today with a capacity crowd expected at the Nittawela Stadium.

New Zealanders captained by Jarred Percival on the other hand will be looking for an improved display from his team mates to do the second double over Sri Lankan Tuskers and retain the Sir Graham Henry Trophy.
