Sri Lanka’s Ransini Perera clinched the women’s 200m gold medal at the 22nd Asian U20 Athletics Championships in Hong Kong, delivering an impressive performance with a winning time of 24.07 seconds.
In the men’s 200m event, Sri Lanka’s Sadew Rajakaruna secured the bronze medal after clocking 21.13 seconds.
Meanwhile, Tharusha Mendis earned the silver medal in the men’s high jump competition, clearing a height of 2.14 metres at the championships today (30).
