Sri Lanka’s cricket officials have named former first-class player and broadcaster Jeryl Woutersz as the new manager of the national team— the latest in a series of changes made in recent weeks.

Woutersz who has played for Burgher Recreation Club in the local premier tournament will be in charge of the team for the upcoming home series against Pakistan and India, Sri Lanka Cricket said in a statement Friday.

A number of changes have been made in Sri Lanka cricket recently with the new government appointing an interim committee to run the sport as it investigates allegations of corruption and fraud by the previous administration.

The interim committee also appointed a new selection committee.
