Nominations for SLC election to be accepted from Nov 24

Minister of Sports Dayasiri Jayasekara says that nominations for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) elections will be accepted from November 24 to December 04, 2015.
The election for the sport’s governing body is scheduled to be held on January 03.
SLC has been administered by a nine-member interim committee, headed by former cricketer Sidath Wettimuny, since April 1.
In April, the ICC announced that the appointment of an interim committee at SLC was a breach of the ICC’s constitution.
