Sri Lanka skipper Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and elected to field against India in the 2nd Twenty20 International at Ranchi.
Opener T.M. Dilshan returns to the team replacing Dickwella while India field an unchanged squad.
Sri Lanka won the first T20 by 5 wickets and lead the three-match series 1-0.
