A brilliant opening knock by Kusal Janith Perera followed by a calculated, well constructed innings by captain Dinesh Chandial saw Sri Lanka surpass the total of 198 set by Zimbabwe earlier today.
Sri Lanka won the match in 44.5 overs with 5 wickets to spare.
KJP set off to a brilliant start before falling one run short of a half century before Chandimal steadied the Sri Lankan run chase with a patient unbeaten 38.
The win today brought hope to the Lankan side in securing a place in the final match at the tri nation series.
