Nimal Welgama has been appointed as chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) with Lawyer Kalinga Indatissa, Shameendra Rajapaksha and Jayantha Dharmadasa being appointed as Board members, Adaderana reliably learns.

 

 

Meanwhile, former SLT chairperson Ms. Leisha de Silva Chandrasena has been appointed chairman of National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB).

 

 

Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga’s wife Indrani Weeratunga, a former Civil Servant has been appointed to head the Sri Lanka Securities Exchange, according to sources.

 

 

The Central Environmental Authority (CEA) has been placed under Charitha Herath, the same sources told Adaderana this morning.
