Sri Lanka women win Bronze Medal in cricket at Asian Games

Sri Lanka women’s cricket team won the Bronze Medal at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, beating China by 5 wickets on Friday.
Skipper Chamari Atapattu top scored with 16 runs, including 3 fours, as the Sri Lankan lasses reached the target of 65 set by China with 17 balls to spare.
Shashikala Siriwardena and Dilani Manodara scored 12 runs each while Maduri Samuddika was the pick of the bowlers with figures 5-2.
Sri Lanka lost to Bangladesh in the semi-final by 25 runs at the Yeonhui Cricket Ground at Incheon, South Korea on Thursday.
Bangladesh will now play against Pakistan in the final on Friday.
