5000 bricks go one by one…

A programme to carry 5000 bricks up the Sigiriya rock, to repair the paw damaged previously by lightning, took place today (02). A large number of young volunteers took part. The damage occurred on 23 October when lightning struck a bund near the Sigiriya lion’s paw. (Pic by Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa)
