President Mahinda Rajapaksa unveiled a statue of former Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute for International Relations and Strategic Studies in Colombo today (August 12) which marks Mr. Kadirgamar’s eighth death anniversary. The assassinated former Minister’s wife Sugandhi Kadirgamar, Prof. G.L. Peiris and Dinesh Gunawardena were among the other dignitaries at the ceremony. (Pics by Sanjeewa Lasantha)
