Kshenuka Senewiratne assumed her duties as the Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs today (January 17) after previous Secretary Karunathilake Amunugama retired from his post. Senewiratne became the first woman to assume the role of Secretary to the Ministry of External Affairs in Sri Lanka. (Pics by D. Banduwardena)
