MoU inked for Sri Lanka’s first cable car project…

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed for the first cable car project in Sri Lanka to be built in Nuwara Eliya. The agreement was signed under the patronage of the Minister of Plantation Industries Navin Dissanayake, at the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council premises. Outdoor Engineering Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. and its foreign partners Doppelmayr Cable Car Ltd have put forward a project proposal to commence the US$50 million cable car project from Nanu Oya to Single Tree Mountain and Gregory Lake.
