Hindus celebrate Thai Pongal…

Hindus across the world celebrate the Thai Pongal festival today (15). Thai Pongal, the multi-day harvest festival dedicated to the Sun God, is observed in the beginning of the month ‘Thai’ according to the Tamil solar calendar.
Sri Lankan Hindus also engaged in religious activities and festivities in view of the Thai Pongal.
