Protesters arrested for forcibly entering CBSL...

A group of members of the Joint Association of Leasing and Debt Instalment Payers had forcibly entered the premises of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) this morning (08 August).

They proceeded to stage a demonstration while sitting on the ground, vowing to initiate a continuous Satyagraha campaign there, after which nine persons, eight men and a woman, were arrested by police.
