Three men on board a small lorry drowned in the river at the Kalupalama in Pugoda when the vehicle plunged into the river last night. Inquiries revealed that the lorry, hit from the back by a speeding container lorry carrying a steamroller had fallen into the river. Police said the vehicle had been parked by the roadside at the time of the collision. Pic by Osanda Daham Nimsara
