The Kokavil Multi Purpose Transmission Tower was commissioned by President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (June 06) morning. The 175-meter tower was constructed at a cost of Rs. 450 million and is scheduled to commence digital transmission covering the entire Northern Province from today. (Pic by Sanjeewa Lasantha)
