Woman hacked to death in Mirihana

A woman has been found hacked to death inside a residence at Santhanampitiya in Pangiriwatta, Mirihana.
The deceased is a 35-year-old female who had been residing at the house in question.
Preliminary investigations have uncovered that the murder has been committed by an individual who had previously served as the driver at the residence.
The magistrate’s inquest regarding the murder is to be carried out by the Gangodawila Magistrate.
Mirihana Police is conducting further investigations to arrest the suspect.
