Accomplice of ‘Angoda Jile’ arrested with ‘ice’ and Kerala cannabis

A main accomplice of the notorious underworld criminal figure and large-scale drug trafficker Ponnamperumage Danush Buddhika alias “Angoda Jile” has been apprehended by the Police Special Task Force (STF).

Police have also seized 25 grams and 500 milligrams of ice (crystal methamphetamine) and 51 grams of Kerala cannabis, which were found in the possession of the suspect.

Additionally, Rs. 274,400 in cash believed to have been earned from the drug racket was also seized.

The arrested suspect is a 30-year-old resident of Battaramulla.

The relevant suspect has been handed over to Thalangama Police for further investigations.
