The Colombo High Court has ordered frozen several bank accounts owned by former MP Anupa Pasqual, in connection with an investigation being carried out under the Anti-Corruption Act.

Accordingly, two bank accounts owned by the former MP in Koggala and Matugama branches of a bank have been ordered frozen for three months, Ada Derana reporter said.

The order was issued in consideration of a request made by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption in relation to the investigation carried out by the commission.
