17-year-old killed in motorcycle crash at Ragama

A motorcyclist traveling from Thewatta towards Dambuwa Junction in Ragama had reportedly lost control of the bike, veered off the road, and crashed into an electricity pole on the byroad.

According to the police, the motorcycle rider, who was seriously injured, succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to Ragama Hospital.

The deceased was a 17-year-old resident of Kandaliyadda Paluwa, Ragama.

Ragama Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
