General Election: Ratnapura District preference vote results

The preferential vote results of the Ratnapura District in the 2024 General Election have been released.

NPP’s Shantha Padmakumara has polled the highest number of preferential votes in the Ratnapura District while NPP’s S. Pradeep has received the second highest preference votes in the district. 

Heshan Withanage has managed to secure the highest number of preference votes for the SJB in the district.

4. Janaka Senarathna - 74,068
5. Sunil Rajapaksha - 58,138
6. Upul Kithsiri - 55,726
7. Wasantha Pushpakumara - 52,841
8. Nilusha Gamage - 48,791

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) 

1. Heshan Withanage - 54,850
2. Waruna Priyantha Liyanage - 44,705
3. Basooriyage Ariyawansa - 26,760
