Ex-President Gotabaya leaves CID after recording statement

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has left the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), a short while ago, after providing a statement.

The CID had summoned the former President today (17), for the recording of a statement over an inquiry into an electricity connection for a property in Kataragama under the name of G. Rajapaksa.
