BOI gives ‘Shangri-La Hotel’ the green light

The Board of Investment (BOI) has granted approval to Hong Kong based group Shangri-La today to build a 500 room hotel with a 500 million US dollars investment in the heart of Colombo, Dr. P.B. Jayasundara Secretary to the Ministry of Finance and Planning told Ada Derana.


Jayasundara added that 75 million US dollars have already been invested to acquire land other resources. The integrated hotel is to be called ‘Shangri-La Lanka Hotel limited’.
