Former MP Nimal Lanza arrested

Former Member of Parliament Nimal Lanza was arrested today (29) after surrendering to the Kochchikade Police.

He is scheduled to be produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court later today (29), said Ada Derana reporter.

The Attorney General has filed charges against the former State Minister in connection with an assault and trespassing incident that occurred during a protest in 2006.
