Mail to tsunami hit areas in Japan suspended

All mail delivery to tsunami hit Japanese postal code areas of 00 to 09, 30 31 96 98 99 have been suspended; Japan’s postal service has informed the Sri Lanka Department of Post.
Therefore avoid sending letters or packages to those areas via post until further notice is given, Postmaster General MKB Dissanayake advised.
