South Africa managed to restrict New Zealand to a total of 221 for 8 in 50 overs in the third quarter-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Jesse Ryder top scored with 83 while Ross Taylor chipped in with 43 as Morne Morkel picked up three wickets for 46 runs off 8 overs.
