Richard Pieris Distributors Ltd. launched the new ‘ARPITEC Doorstep Service’ that is now available to all its ARPITEC Water Pump customers island-wide. This invaluable service provides a convenient solution to any problem that may arise in the use of ARPITEC water pumps.


In order to provide a speedy and efficient service to customers, the company organized an event where the technical staff was given a special training. The ceremony was held under the auspices of the company’s Managing Director Mr. Sunil Liyanage to felicitate the handing over of motor cycles to these trained technicians.


All ARPITEC water pump users island-wide can avail themselves of this novel ‘ARPITEC Doorstep Service’, which has the distinction of being the first of its kind in the country, where a company has offered such a comprehensive service to its customers. Richard Pieris Distributors Ltd. has appointed these specially trained technicians to cover the Northern and Eastern regions of the country as well, guaranteeing a solution to their water pump related problems within 48 hours.


ARPITEC water pump customers are advised to contact the Service & Complaints number on 077 – 3557668 in the event of a problem arising in connection with the water pump or the water pumping process and state the Warranty Card details. The company will thereafter take on the responsibility of contacting the nearest Technical Officer in respected area in order to take this novel doorstep concept to the customer.


While providing this special service for a period of five years from the date of purchase of the pump, a comprehensive service warranty will be provided free of charge only for the first year.  During the subsequent four years, only the cost of repairs and replacement spare parts will be charged to the customer.

The Domestic, Technical and Agricultural divisions of the company have with great initiative and innovation introduced 32 different varieties of water pumps to the market so far. Furthermore, these pumps are the first such pumps to be manufactured in Sri Lanka using non-corrosive stainless steel (No. 306 food graded). Hence, there is no presence of rust during the pumping of water, preventing harmful toxic substances entering the human body during consumption of such water and is therefore minimize health issues which can cause from rusty water.


In areas where elevations is high, ARPITEC has a range of long distance water delivery pumps that can pressure water to greater heights.
