VIDEO: Don’t overturn May Day by showing Ban Ki-moon

Do not attempt to turn May Day on its head by showing the people Ban Ki-moon, the United National Party requested from the government. Use this May Day to fulfill the promises given to the working people, Gayantha Karunathilaka advised.


The UNP media spokesman speaking during a press briefing today (April 25) said that the SLFP dominant Alliance government is up to its usual tricks again.


“The manner in which the government is preparing for May Day and through the government’s May Day theme it is evident that they are attempting mislead the working people.” he stated.
 

Gayantha expressed that just as the prices of essential items such as fuel, gas and wheat flour have been increased recently fares of public transports, used by the working public, will also be increase soon.
