Thisara Samarasinghe appointed as HC to Australia

Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe has been appointed as Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to Australia, the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed. The former Navy Commander had been nominated for the post on January 12, 2011.
