Head of Seruwila Rajamaha Viharaya protests against cow-slaughter

The Head of the historical Seruwila Purana Rajamaha Viharaya, Seruwila Saranakiththi Himi has begun a protest today (May 19) at the Seruwila temple against cow slaughter and taverns in Sri Lanka.

 

He has stated that he will not stop the protest until cow slaughtering is completely banned within the country.
