Arpico introduces first ever portable “Green Gas Unit” in Sri Lanka

Arpico Plastishells Ltd, forging ahead in organic and liquid Waste Management, has introduced a Green Gas Unit in Sri Lanka providing households, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing plants, Large Scale businesses and SMEs to produce Bio Gas through organic waste, - an islands first a company spokesperson said.
Available in 1000ltrs and 5000ltrs units, it is estimated a total 1-7 hrs of gas could be generated and stored with minimum effort in these new “Green Gas Units” producing vistas for renewable energy for all citizens in the country. Organic waste is stored in the unit to produce the Green Gas, and users would additionally benefit from the liquid compost, which is a by-product of the system which can be used for agricultural and gardening purposes. The Arpico Green Gas Units are made out of hard plastic, with ease of mobility. The volume of green gas formed will be determined according to the volume of waste used for the transition, which is completely safe.

The concept of green gas production was acknowledged by Sri Lanka many years ago and also used in our neighboring country, India, and many other developed European nations all around the world. Yet we couldn’t develop a simple, cost effective and efficient unit in producing bio gas. Our Arpico green gas unit is simple and user friendly. The Arpico Green Gas Unit, a patent product, is now available for our consumers to experience and reap benefits”.
