Angelo Mathews named Vice Captain

Angelo Mathews has been appointed Vice Captain for Sri Lanka’s home series against Australia, Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Selection Committee Duleep Mendis said.
Mathews, who captained the Sri Lanka team in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup, was overlooked as vice captain, with selectors naming Thilina Kandamby, for Sri Lanka’s 2011 tour of England.
