Stockpile of bombs in Wedithalathivu forest

A stockpile of anti-personnel bombs were found buried in a forest area in Wedithalathivu, Mannar following a search conducted by Mannar Police personnel.

The search operation was carried out according to information uncovered by the Intelligence Unit of the Mannar Division.

The stockpile consisted of 47 anti-personnel bombs and 37 fuses used for them, Mannar Police which is conducting extensive investigations revealed.
