Brothel in Jaffna raided, 13 arrested

Thirteen individuals, including five females were arrested after police raided a brothel in Jaffna last night. Operating from a hotel in Jaffna town, the brothel is suspected to be owned by prominent Tamil politician. 

The arrested suspects, also include the owner of the hotel which had provided cover for the illegal operation, are scheduled to be produced at court today (November 14).

Jaffna Police, OIC Saman Sigera said it has been revealed that the brothel is owned and operated by a powerful member of a Tamil political party.
