Although the court has ordered the arrest of those involved in former MP Baratha Lakshman Premachandra’s murder, no interest is being taken regarding the case, UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa stated.

He further said that the time has come for the public to stand up for their rights while adding that the law in the country had deteriorated greatly.

Furthermore, he added that it was difficult to see in which direction the country is headed in.
